Wittgenstein’s phenomenology and Wittgenstein’s phenomenological relevance

Abstract. After interpreting some of the passages in which Wittgenstein refers to phenomenology, this paper tries to clarify why Wittgenstein came to conclude that his work had to be ultimately understood in terms of phenomenology.
